About The Program

This two-year program is strongly recommended for those pursuing a career in engineering, architecture, design, or a related field. Both men and women can gain expertise in technical drawing, mechanical and architectural drafting. Students are exposed to the latest 2D and 3D software, including AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, and Autodesk Revit.

Throughout the program students utilize CAD software along with a Dimension uPrint 3D Printer which allows them to produce ABS plastic prototypes and models through their own creativity. Students experiment with 3D printing and modeling to design and build objects that can solve problems, needs, and wants, which is vital to producing the next generation of architects, engineers, and designers. Prototyping and 3D printing services are also available to local industry and community members.

Students also participate in leadership and skill competitions through SkillsUSA, along with offering services to assist community organizations and individuals with drafting, plotting, and 3D printing projects.
